Each artist will be on hand to discuss their creative methods and ideas as well as selling their work. Leaflets showing the route and places of interest are available from TICs and museums throughout the county as well as a waymarked trail to guide you around.
Participating artists- Rowena Beaty, Hilary Rose Burt, Alison Critchlow, Roger Golding, Ben Fosker and Jonathan Leech.

"Time And Tide"-
19th March- 8th May 2016
Upstairs @ Upfront, Upfront Gallery, Hutton-in -the -Forest CA11 9TG.
An exhibition of my recent paintings with sculptor Rowena Beaty. We have both created new work for this show and very much enjoyed the creative exchange which has resulted. The exhibition looks at the significance of time and the ebb and flow of the tide. This is an extract from the statement I have written about the work on display.
"This selection of paintings from the last two years invites you on a journey into the world of paint. Viewed at a distance, close in, looking up or peering down from the air all of these paintings are concerned with time, erosion, speed and motion. The wild Atlantic shores of the Hebrides were the starting point for many of the paintings and the point of focus has becomes closer and closer until eventually you are in the water and the dribbles and dashes of paint take on a wholly abstract life of their own. This fascinates me; the balance between representation and abstraction between a moment caught and reinvented in paint – held in time."
